8 years of research, distilled into finely printed 6 volumes and 2000 pages, with unprecedented detail of provenances and colour illustrations.

The collection documents all known instruments made by the Stradivari workshop, with clear and concise historical information on each. Over 100+ in-depth features of the most outstanding instruments, each containing 6 pages of detailed illustrations and historical information complemented by commentary from project leader John Dilworth.

Highly reputed British and Italian design and production teams have used the most advanced digital technology and equipment available to make the collection.​ Tailored to suit the varying needs of experts, luthiers and collectors, the volumes measure 300 x 360mm.

The Library Edition is beautifully quarter-bound in fine cloth, with gold and grey debossings. Retail price: £3900.

 

The 100 personalised Deluxe Edition copies are hand-bound with the finest Italian natural leather, gilded edges and letterings on the cover. Currently, numbers between 25 and 35 are available for pre-order for £5000.​

The subscribers' list at the end of volume VI will include all early patrons thus forming the most prestigious club of Stradivari aficionados.

As of April 2023, Volumes 1, 2 and 3 have been printed and are being bound.

Work is underway on the remaining three volumes, as we near completion of the complete set.
