Beares Publishing is a new London-based imprint specialising in classical music and stringed instruments related books. We work with the world's most influential musicians, scholars, dealers and teachers to produce innovative and important books.

The company was founded in 2015 by Simon Morris, Steven Smith and Anna Saldadzé with a shared desire to accompany audiences in their discovery, love and understanding of what makes the richness of « classical music ».

No written word can compete with the sensory experience of listening, yet we need those very words to make sense of the emotions we experience; or to understand what guided a musician through the difficult path of achieving excellence and in return be inspired by their courage and boldness.
